Terms of the “Free mockup and 7-day prototype” offer
1. Who it is for
The offer is aimed at businesses planning to build an application. The prototype is available for applications with an estimated value of €3,750 net or more. For smaller projects we prepare only a free mockup and, where possible, give access to a demo of a similar earlier project. Whether a mockup and prototype will be prepared is decided jointly after the initial call. Each company may use the offer once.
2. Free mockup
After the call, within 5 business days, we prepare a mockup of 2–3 screens of the application (without working functions) and present it online or share it via a link for viewing. The mockup is free of charge and creates no obligation. The rights to the mockup remain with Knight Software. The number of mockups prepared per week is limited.
3. Prototype
The scope of the prototype is agreed in writing (up to one page). The price is €725 net plus VAT, payable in advance on the basis of an invoice. We make the prototype available within 7 calendar days of the day the scope is approved and the payment is received (the “deadline”). The prototype runs on sample data and is not a production version of the application.
4. Changes and decision
After the presentation you may request one round of changes within the agreed scope. You have 7 days from the presentation to decide (or, if you requested changes, from the presentation of the revised version).
5. 100% money-back guarantee
We refund the full amount paid if:
- a) the prototype is not made available by the deadline, or
- b) within the decision period you withdraw by email — without giving any reason.
The refund is made within 14 days of the request, to the account from which the payment was made, on the basis of a corrective invoice.
6. Effects of a refund
In the event of a refund, the prototype, its code and screen designs remain the property of Knight Software, access to the prototype expires, and the Client acquires no right to use them. Information about your company provided for the prototype is treated as confidential and deleted at your request.
7. If you keep the prototype
If you do not withdraw within the decision period, the prototype stays with you on the terms set out in the prototype order. If we sign a contract for the full project within 30 days of the presentation, the price of the prototype is deducted from the project price.
8. Final provisions
Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law and the prototype order. Knight Software may stop offering mockups and prototypes on these terms; this does not affect orders already placed.
